Landscaping is a tough profession! Right, an understatement if ever there was one! In most areas, we are dealing with seasonal work which means seasonal income. In other areas, landscapers may not have to deal with seasons, but that means no break from the workload.

There are many very successful landscapers today. My son, for many years, operated a very successful landscaping business. Of course I assisted him with marketing and managing clients, but he never rested. For years, he struggled with hiring employees, employee issues including work quality and dependability, rising costs of materials and not to mention the customers who thought his work was only worth a pittance and those who never paid him for word completed.
