MARKETING FOR NOVICES

 When I first started my business, I was truly a Marketing Infant.  I knew nothing.  After struggling for quite a long time, spending way too much money and have too little results, I decided to do whatever it took to learn how to market my business myself instead of paying someone else to do it.

I love the internet.  I have always been a little geeky in that respect, I love gadgets and technology.  So when I made the decision to aggressively market my business, I chose to primarily stay with the Internet.  Of course I fish from many ponds, but the largest percentage of my marketing is internet.

There are so many ways to get started in handling your own marketing.  I chose to go to the top people in the industry and will recommend those to you in just a few minutes.

But before you run out and give it a go for yourself, please understand this…

You can accidentally spend a lot of money if you do not know what you are doing.  Internet marketing does not have to be expensive, but if you are not careful, you will spend way tooooo much!  Believe me, I went on vacation once and accidentally spent thousands on Google while I was gone.  So I will help you to learn from my mistakes.

At this printing, I find 9,240  references to my name in google.  So what does that mean?  Since I am literally “all over” the internet with articles, interviews and etc, this information has created a branding of me and my business.  None of this recognition has been of any cost to me.  YES, I said… NO COST.  My generic search results are very high.   What I will provide for you here will be solid information on getting these same results for yourself and your business.

Of course I do have an aggressive marketing budget as well, but as time goes by, I am reducing that budget more and more.  It is literally 50% now of what it used to be, all because of my online marketing efforts.
